We are thrilled to unveil our latest creation, the enchanting, exquisite Scottish Rex. This extraordinary breed is the result of meticulous research and expert consultations to ensure their unique characteristics.
To develop the Scottish Rex, we carefully selected the Scottish Fold stud, Nieve, with his stunning silver tabby coat and adorable show quality folded ears. Complementing him was Monita, the elegant and intelligent Devon Rex queen, known for her striking hypoallergenic grey fur. By combining the exceptional traits of these two breeds, we aimed to create a feline companion that would truly stand out in the world of cats.
Our journey began with extensive research into the compatibility of the Scottish Fold and Devon Rex breeds. Both breeds shared warm, loyal, and intelligent traits, which we believed would harmonize wonderfully in the Scottish Rex. Additionally, the Scottish Fold's gentle and laid-back nature would balance the high activity level of the Devon Rex, resulting in a more adaptable and relaxed demeanor.
Before proceeding with the breeding, we consulted closely with our trusted veterinarian to ensure the health and well-being of Nieve and Monita. They both received a clean bill of health.
By introducing genetic diversity, we minimized the risk of hereditary health issues, and the kittens inherit the best qualities from both parent breeds. Additionally, the blend of Scottish Fold and Devon Rex traits ensures that these kittens are incredibly unique and unlike any other kittens out there.
One remarkable feature of the Scottish Rex is their hypoallergenic coat. Like the Devon Rex, they require minimal grooming, making them an excellent choice for families with existing cat allergies. Our extensive search across various platforms yielded no evidence of this breed anywhere else. We reached out to the parents that adopted our first Devon Rex/Scottish Fold litter. We were so happy to find them all very happy and well adapted to their new home. We were also interested in how little these kitten shed.

Miso
Here is Miso as a kitten and then a months after. She was born a lilac Devon Fold with beautiful black points. Her family was happy to share that she is thriving and playful as ever.

Nessa
This is Nessa, a gorgeous tabby Devon Fold. She is the second kitten from our nursey that joined this beautiful family. They share that both Nessa and Wellie are an inseparable pair!
"Literally no shedding! I'll be honest, I'm crazy allergic to cats ... both Nessa and Wellie give me no problems. Every night she sleeps with me... there are never any hairs left behind on me when I get up, plus, I can breathe just fine. She really is just pure joy. We are so grateful for her and Wellie."
Mocha
This is Mocha as a kitten and in her home several months after. She was born a blue Scottish Rex. Once again a very good kitten for limited to no shedding (from her Devon Rex lineage).
